Introducing: Rotting Out

Fronted by Walter Delgado (Alpha & Omega, Minority Unit), Los Angeles 5-piece Rotting Out plays furious hardcore punk with a thrashy edge. Think of early Suicidal Tendencies and Descendents, mixed with a more modern hardcore sound.

2011 saw the release of debut album Street Prawl (6131 Records), a record that is as fast paced and energetic, as it is heavy and crushing. Much progress has been made since their early 7 inches and demo’s, which were recorded with former vocalist Mike. Delgrado’s lyrics are pure and personal. The title track for example is about the singer growing up, roaming the streets because there was nothing better to do. Check out Street Prawl below.

Starting this friday, Rotting Out will embark on their first ever European tour in support of hardcore heavyweights Bane and Cruel Hand. Prepare yourselves for a night full of singalongs, stagedives, pile-ups and positive energy.
