Last Friday Citizen kicked of their first mainland Europe tour with Turnover. The show at Winston Kingdom in Amsterdam was sold-out within no time, which also led to a massive line in front of the door. Unfortunately, many people missed a part of Turnover’s set because of it, including Legends Arising photographer Frank Botman.
Both bands played killer sets and the crowd (a remarkably young crowd tonight which was great to see) set off from the start. Shout-out to promoter Craig Mcveigh for putting on yet another sold-out show. I’d love to see more of these.
Also, Citizen vocalist Mat Kerekes mentioned that the band recently shot footage for a new video which will most likely be released this week. So keep an eye on their Facebook-page.
