The Dutch indoor mini-festival, Smashfest, will be taking place on July 2nd at CAPSLOC in Capelle aan den IJssel (NL). They’ve confirmed UK metal/hardcore band Venom Prison to play their first in The Netherlands plus Ithaca (UK), Scared of Everything (UK) and Rites (NL).

With the confirmation of four loud, underground and diverse bands, festival host Maartje sets to surprise the audience. A total of nine bands will play in this year’s edition, plus four acoustic acts to be set up outside in the July sun. Over the coming months, more names will be added to the bill. Next to music, live tattooing will be available on the festival site, as well as vegan treats and several label distros and stalls.
