Groundbreaking metal/hardcore band Converge has announced a summer tour in August 2012. The dates will include headlining shows as well as the summer festival appearances, including Hevy Festival in UK, Resurrection Festival in Spain and Ieper Fest in Belgium.  On the headlining dates, Converge will be joined by supporting acts Rise And Fall and Birds In Row. Tickets will go on sale on Thursday, March 29.

Converge’s eighth studio album – and a follow up to 2009’s Axe To Fall – will be released by Epitaph/Deathwish in 2012.
