Three days ago we introduced Kaedyn Entertainment to you, a management/booking agency run by Gideon’s guitarist Daniel McCartney. Seladora is the latest addition to his management roster.

Can you introduce Seladora to the European crowd?

My name is Alek and I am the vocalist for Seladora. We are from the southern state of Georgia.

What’s the main reason you guys exist?

Really we are just a group of guys that love music, and we could not see doing anything else. We all started when were all pretty young and we never it took it serious until as of late. Lyrically everything I have written since in the band has pertained to something that has happened in my life and things that make you question things in your life like faith, moral standings and life in general and what how it makes you stronger.

You just signed to Keadyn Entertainment. How did you get in touch with Daniel and made it to a collaboration?

We actually had played multiple shows with Daniel and his band Gideon. We had always been fans of theirs and loved either being on the road playing with them or being at home and them coming by and playing with us. From there we just kept in contact with him and when we saw what he had been doing and saw the success he was having with other bands we started to talk to him about helping us push ourselves farther.

What are your future plans?

We are actually writing right now and plan on recording very soon but in the meantime we plan on being on the road all of this summer, and maybe even Europe in the near future.

How do you plan on conquering the world?

We plan on just playing our music and meeting as many kids as we possibly can. We want to spread a positive message to everyone with how hard things can be sometimes, I know personally music has always been a great outreach for me. I would like to think that anything I can do if it is the music we play, or the conversations we have with kids at shows that I am helping out one way or the other.

I’m not sure if I would consider Seladora ‘hardcore’, though what is heavy music about for you guys?

For us it is all about passion, and heavy music is just that. You really can not play heavy music without being passionate about it. When we are able to go out and jump off stage and throw equipment around and just be insane on stage it just about having passion and letting go of everything else going on in the world in that moment.

What upcoming bands can you recommend to our readers?

We love to support any of the bands we play with though there are so many to list but some bands we have grown to be friends with are our friends Convalesce from Jacksonville Florida. They are amazing guys and write amazing music and have a great Message. Other bands would be Gideon forsure they have been busting butt’s for a wile and deserve everything they get. Make sure also to check out our friends from Missouri Inlow, they were the first band we toured with and they are amazing guys as well.
