Frameworks from Gainesville, Florida have premiered the first music from their new album, Smother, for a song called ‘Purge’.
It was premiered yesterday bij Nerdist.com and the website states: “The video for the song is a trip straight to Bummer Town, showcasing the feelings of being ignored, forgotten, and unwanted. “‘Purge’ was written about family members who weren’t around when they should have been and now that I or the band have something they consider deemable of boasting, credit is taken where credit will never be due,” singer Luke Pate told us. The video that accompanies the song certainly captures that feeling. Watching it is like watching a memory; fragmented, stale, and unsettling. It’s the saddest home movie you’ve ever seen.”
Earlier the band signed to Deathwish Inc. and released the first song ‘Tangled’ from the new record. More information and songs will surface soon. For now, pre-order Frameworks’ Smother LP here.
