Dutch rock ‘n roll/punk quintet John Coffey is ready to hit the road this week, starting Monday in Dresden. The band will be on the road for a week, playing shows throughout Germany. It’s the first tour for the new, promising line-up of John Coffey, and the band is crazy excited to show Germany what they got. Singer David comments: “It’s a dream coming true to get in that tour bus and blow those kids’ minds. We can’t wait to see the reactions to our new songs“.
The new material will be recorded later this summer in Sweden with Pelle Gunnerfeldt, the man behind Refused‘s Songs to Fan the Flames of Discontent. Also, Jag Jago from The Ghost of a Thousand will be co-producing the record. With this being confirmed, John Coffey promises the be the next big thing in the European hardcore/noise scene. To help the band financing the new album, you can support them on Sellaband. For more information check the interview we recently did with them.
