A good start of your weekend: Texas in July, Verona, Fit For A King & Wasted Bullet

We just wanted to share a few awesome bands with you to kick off your weekend! Hope you like them!

Texas in July

If you’d ask me to describe Texas in July in one word, I’d say brutal. These young fellas, some members are still in high school, have been experiencing packed shows and a massive internet buzz after the release of digital-only EP Salt of the Earth. Their exciting groove-oriented take on modern metalcore made their debut album I Am cross unexpected boundaries, literally. The band is doing a tour throughout Europe starting July 2nd.

Verona

A simple thought drives Verona to chase their dream: “Its just that this generation does not want to hear anymore fluff. This generation wants to hear something real, something that’s more than music-something genuine.” So real is what you get. Hopefully these boys are flying overseas soon to share their passion on stage in Europe.

Fit For a King

With a strong online presence Tyler, Texas’ Fit For a King has been making their way to the top for the past two years. Since the release of their first EP Awaken The Vesper the band have been turning heads. Their Christ like mentality has quickly set them apart among independent bands on the circuit and kids have been begging for more ever since. Reason enough to head over to their Myspace and check them out!

Wasted Bullet

Mixing hardcore and metal in a powerful way, Dutchies Wasted Bullet have released their lastest EP Changes on Crossfirecult Records. Ever since the line up change, the band has been working on a fresh and mature sound. With smooth clean vocals, heavy breakdowns and typical hardcore singalongs, these boys will definitely find their way to the European top.
